MARBLE WORKTOPS

Granite is the most common choice of stone for kitchen worktops, and the most expensive and sought after granites are those which look like marble.

Cool, luxurious and generally pale with veins and streaks of natural colour, marble is a classic choice of stone worktop. It is low maintenance, hard-wearing, available in a wide range of colours and its cool and non-stick surface is excellent for baking activities such as the kneading of dough.

Caution:

Because the main component in marble is calcium, acids such as vinegar and citrus beverages can affect it.
